Email Setup : Gmail

To access your Gmail account on WINK, you'll need to generate and use an app password. An app password is a 16-digit passcode that gives a non-Google app or device permission to access your Google Account.
!!App passwords can only be used with accounts that have 2-Step Verification turned on!!

1. Go to your Google Account.
   
2. On the left navigation panel, choose Security.
3. On the 'Search' panel, search for App passwords.
   
    
   If you don’t see this option:
   • 2-Step Verification is not set up for your account
   • 2-Step Verification is set up for security keys only
   • Your account is through work, school or other organisation
   • You’ve turned on Advanced Protection for your account
     
4. Enter your gmail account password
5. Click on Select app and choose Other (custom name).
   
6. Enter WINK as App Name and click on Generate 
   
7. It will generate your App password to use in WINK to sync your gmail account.
   
8. Copy this password ( you will have to paste it into your WINK store's settings.) 
9. Click on Done.

In WINK, Under your Store's settings : 

1. Go to Company >> Stores >> Practices&Stores
2. Select and open the location
3. Go to the outgoing email tab
   
   

   Enter your gmail account smtp settings : 

   1. email Option : SMTP
   2. Outgoing email Address : your Gmail address
   3. Outgoing name : Company name
   4. SMTP Host Name : smtp.gmail.com
   5. SMTP Server port : 587 TLS
   6. SMTP User Name : your Gmail address
   7. SMTP Password : the App password.
   8. SMTP Authentication required : has to be checked
4. Click on Save
5. Done
