WINKemr: Tile Colors and Their Meanings

The objective of this article is to inform users on the different colors of WINKemr tiles and their meaning.

Orange
Indicates that the tile is empty. It appears in the default layout for the selected visit type, but no data has been entered.

Orange tiles will disappear from the overview screen after the exam is locked. The tiles can reappear if the provider of the exam unlocks it.

Red
Indicates unverified data, which may have come from one of two sources:

  • Data carried over from a previous visit (when the user selected "start from previous visit").
  • Data from the default template for the selected visit type (when the user chose "start from blank" and previously created "favorites" for this visit type).

Red tiles will disappear from the overview screen after the exam is locked.

The data will not be lost, but will only be visible to the provider of the exam once they have unlocked it.

Green
Indicates verified data, meaning:

  • Data originally marked as red (carried over or from the default template) that the user has confirmed by clicking once to verify or twice to edit.
  • Data entered into an orange (previously empty) tile that the user has actively opened and populated with new information.

Green tiles are the only ones that will remain in the overview screen after the exam is locked.
