Update for iPad-based application
What will users need to do?
For iPad users with automatic updates enabled, the App Store will automatically download and install updates for the new EMR app in the background once they become available. In this case, no action is required from the user.
However, if automatic updates are turned off (see the screenshot reference below), users will need to manually update the app by visiting the App Store.
***Please ensure not to delete the previous version of the application before the update***
Will the application password reset?
No, the password will not reset unless the application is first deleted manually from the device.
Will users need to download a new application version?
As mentioned earlier, if automatic updates are not enabled on the device, then YES, users will need to update manually to the latest application version in the App Store. Please refer to your release notes to know which version is the latest. This action will not require the user to reconnect to the database.
Please Note: As a precaution, we recommend proactively connecting your devices to the web version to avoid potential work interruptions in case of any issues with the iPad application update. Please note that the web version is slightly different and may lack one or two features, but it will allow you to carry on with most operations while the iOS application is being fixed as a high priority.
Update of web-based WINKemr (desktop version)
No action is required from the user. Upon opening the application in their web browser, they will automatically be directed to the most recent version. To confirm they are using the correct version, users can check the version number at the bottom right of the login screen. Please refer to your release notes to know which version is the latest.
